Hotel Mercure Granville Le Grand Large

I arrived by motorcycle on an extremely wet day, leaving puddles of water in the main reception area. The young lady on Reception was excellent! Smiley, helpful and with a mixture of my poor French and her English directed me to a parking spot in the underground garage for the bike after booking me in. I can't rate her highly enough. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is outstanding with a sea view from the front and a view of the bay and town at the back - we loved sitting on our balcony admiring it. The hotel has an underground car park, lovely terraces and a bar with sea views. Our room was clean, well equiped, quiet and comfortable - what more does one need?

Good breakfast, the coffee machines were not user friendly.

Friendly checkin staff. Room was fine and clean. Good size bathroom.

Decent price, parking was not as tough as we worried. Good location but a bit up hill. It was a close walk to the city and sea. Loved the place!!!
