Mercure Granville Le Grand Large

Excellent continental breakfast with eggs, hams, cheese, all the spreads and cereals also they offered local food to discover. They also had great coffee machines, orange and apple juice makers. Pancakes, fresh pastries etc... One of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. And that's not even mentioning the sea view! Furthermore they had good gluten free options. Well worth the price in my opinion. Regarding the room it was beautiful, huge and well insolated. My husband and I could both manage to do our morning stretch at the same time on each side of the bed. The queen bed was very comfy too. The location couldn't have been better and even if our car was too tall for the hotel car park, we managed to find a free parking spot at walking distance (was mid week in July after 5pm). Finally staff very friendly and helpful, I would come back without a doubt. They even have a secret access direct to the sea front promenade and we loved our 7.30am walk under the sun!

I arrived by motorcycle on an extremely wet day, leaving puddles of water in the main reception area. The young lady on Reception was excellent! Smiley, helpful and with a mixture of my poor French and her English directed me to a parking spot in the underground garage for the bike after booking me in. I can't rate her highly enough. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

We liked the location right on the sea, close to the centre and walking area. The room was great and beds very comfortable.

The view from the room was beautiful. The staff were kind and patient with my terrible french.

The room was two-floor (king-size bed upstairs), clean, with side seaview, even a Nespresso machine with capsules was available. There was a place to park the car in the garage. Nice sea view from the restaurant terrass.
